The Branch continues to support its diverse membership by running a series of activities that involves the Australian Stock Horse.
Some of the activities being planned for this year have been cancelled until further notice as a result of the risk of Equine Influenza however the Branch Committee turned to the use of technology to support its members and run a virtual competition. We are pleased to present the results in this section of the website.
- Best Turned Out Photo Competition: There were 10 entries in this section. The horses and owners / handlers looked fantastic.
First: Erica Donnard and Yarangui Bushdance. Second: Gerard Lafferty and Glen Lee Rivoli Shine. Third: Karen Harrison and Hogan's Riverman. Fourth: Karen Harrison and Falconhurst Savannah.
- Fancy Dress Photo Competition: How great it was to have the kids and their horses dress up and look so good. They did a fantastic job. The judge found this competition very hard and since there was no clear winner, we are pleased to announce that
Jack Henzen (his entry was as Spiderman); Olivia Henzen (her entry was as a Fairy Princess) and Mardy McKenzie (her entry was as a stockman's ball entrant) were all First equal.
- Video Competition: Hack: There were 8 entries in the ridden section.
First: Erica Donnard riding Yarangui Bushdance. Second: Scarlett McLean riding Silverthorn Danny Boy Third: Gerard Lafferty riding Glen Lee Rivoli Shine Fourth: Karen Harrison riding Hogan's Riverman
